Airports & Car Hire

Limoges - 55 minutes

Bergerac - 1 hour 30 minutes

Bordeaux - 2 hours 30 minutes

Ryanair have direct flights from the UK and service a number of airports.

All three airports have car hire at the terminals.  Limoges and Bergerac are super little regional airports and we recommend Buggs Car Hire.  There are a variety of car hire companies available at Bordeaux airport.  We highly recommend that you pre-book your hire car.

Ferry

Brittany Ferries have a number of routes to France from the UK.  The most direct route to us is from Caen.  From here it takes 5 hours 45 minutes.  Taking an overnight crossing and cabin allows you to arrive in France in the morning refreshed and ready for your journey south to the Dordogne.

Alternatively, you may wish to sail in the day and have an overnight stop about half way in the Central Loire.
